Prof. Dr. Lavinia Vlaia completed her Doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Târgu-Mureş in 2004 and obtained her Habilitation Certificate in Pharmacy at “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2018. She joined the “Victor Babeş” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in March 1995 as a resident pharmacist and became a professor in February 2021. In addition, she served as the head of Department II of the Faculty of Pharmacy, "Victor Babes" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timişoara from 2011 to 2015. She is currently a member of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Board of the Department II of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Her research keywords are hydrogels and physicochemical characterization.
