Tommaso Pastore gained a degree in Nuclear Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1981, and since 2001 has been a Full Professor in Material Science and Technology at the University of Bergamo. He was President of Building Engineering Courses and the Corrosion Center of the Italian Metallurgy Association. Since 2005 he has been a member of the Board of the Italian Association of Material Engineering. His scientific activity is focused on applied electrochemistry, in particular on corrosion and protection of materials and durability of concrete structures. He has published more than 100 scientific works Scopus-indexed, an H-index of 22.
