The paper presents a wear load capacity of crossed helical gears (gear pair consists of a worm and a helical gear). Crossed helical gears are similar to worm gear pairs, and it is logical to extend the load capacity calculation approach of worm gears for the case of crossed helical gears. One of the disadvantages of crossed helical gear sets is very high running-in wear. The paper explains the transition between running-in and steady-state wear and proposes a joint wear calculation model. The paper outlines a proposal to extend the calculation method for wear load capacity from a worm gear pair to the case of crossed helical gears (a worm with a helical gear). This calculation method for determining the wear load capacity of crossed helical gears is verified for the cases when the wheel is of bronze CuSn12Ni2-C-GCB and sintered steel Fe1.5Cr0.2Mo.

Fazi logika; Monitoring stanja; Vibracije

Planetary gear trains offer numerous advantages over traditional gear systems, including high efficiency, the ability to handle large torque loads, and significant reductions in mass and size for the same torque capacity. However, their relatively complex design necessitates the use of optimization techniques to identify the most suitable configurations for specific applications. A key requirement for effective optimization is a mathematical model that accurately captures the essential operational characteristics of the system. Moreover, the optimization process must account for multiple, often conflicting, objectives. This paper focuses on the multicriteria optimization of a three-stage planetary gear train intended for use in a road vehicle winch. The development of the optimization model involves defining the objective functions, decision variables, and constraints. Optimization criteria were based on the following characteristics: overall volume, mass, transmission efficiency, and the production costs of the gear pairs. In addition to identifying the group of solutions that are Pareto optimal, the model employs the weighted coefficient method to select a single optimal solution from this set. The selected solution is then analyzed through simulation to assess potential gear failure scenarios. By combining optimization techniques with simulation and contact analysis, this study contributes to improving the reliability of planetary gear transmissions.

Sliding bearings' main advantages over the ball bearings are it's load capacity and longevity. If hydrodinamic lubrication conditions are met then the sliding bearings will work forever. This is especially important when dealing with high rotation rate environments, where ball bearings see very limited use due to their inferior load capacity and longevity. The focus of this study is the examination and determination of coefficient of friction values in sliding bearings made of tin based white metal alloys conditioned with hydrodinamic lubrication. A sliding bearing is based on a kinematic pair made of a steel axle and a braided alloy TEGOTENAX V840 made by Ecka Granules. The chemical composition of the this alloy is 88.7% Sn, 7.6% Sb and 3.7% Cu. The examination was performed using one oil lubricant. Experimental data has been used for creating an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system model. ANFIS model provides an estimation of coefficient of friction values in function of load. Based on the ANFIS model an analytical expression, used for connecting load values with coefficient of friction values, was defined. This analytical expression is suitable for engineering applications and purposes.
