During the water injection development process of highly deviated wells in low-permeability reservoirs, the water flooding distance between different layers of the same oil and water well is different due to the deviation of the well. In addition, the heterogeneity of low-permeability reservoirs is strong, and the water absorption capacity between layers is very different. This results in poor effectiveness of commonly used layered injection methods. Some highly deviated wells have premature water breakthroughs after layered water injection, which affects the development effect of the water flooding reservoirs. Therefore, based on the analysis and research of the existing layered injection allocation method and sand body connectivity evaluation method, considering the influence of sand body connectivity, the real displacement distance of highly deviated wells, reservoir physical properties, and other factors, a new methodology for determination of layered injection allocation in highly deviated wells drilled in low-permeability reservoirs is proposed. In this method, the vertical superposition and lateral contact relationship of a single sand body are determined using three methods: sand body configuration identification, seepage unit identification, and single sand body boundary identification. The connectivity coefficient, transition coefficient, and connectivity degree coefficient are introduced to quantitatively evaluate the connectivity of sand bodies and judge the connectivity relationship between single sand bodies. The correlation formula is obtained using the linear regression of the fracture length and ground fluid volume, and the real displacement distance of each layer in highly deviated wells is obtained. The calculation formula of the layered injection allocation is established by analyzing the important factors affecting the layered injection allocation, and a reasonable layered injection allocation is obtained. The calculation parameters of this method are fully considered, the required parameters are easy to obtain, and the practicability is strong. It can provide a method reference for the policy adjustment of layered water injection technology in similar water injection development reservoirs.

Under traffic load, earthquake load, and wave load, saturated sand foundation is prone to liquefaction, and foundation reinforcement is the key measure to improve its stability and liquefaction resistance. Traditional foundation treatment methods have many problems, such as high cost, long construction period, and environmental pollution. As a new solidification method, enzyme-induced calcium carbonate precipitation (EICP) technology has the advantages of economy, environmental protection, and durability. Through a triaxial consolidated undrained shear test under cyclic loading, the impacts of confining pressure (σ3), cementation number (Pc), cyclic stress ratio (CSR), initial dry density (ρd), and vibration frequency (f) on the development law of pore water pressure of EICP-solidified sand are analyzed and then a pore water pressure model suitable for EICP-solidified sand is established. The result shows that as σ3 and CSR increase, the rise rate of pore water pressure of solidified sand gradually accelerates, and with a lower vibration number required for liquefaction, the anti-liquefaction ability of solidified sand gradually weakens. However, as Pc, ρd, and f rise, the increase rate of pore water pressure of solidified sand gradually lowers, the vibration number required for liquefaction increases correspondingly, and its liquefaction resistance gradually increases. The test results are highly consistent with the predictive results, which show that the three-parameter unified pore water pressure model is suitable for describing the development law of A-type and B-type pore water pressure of EICP-solidified sand at the same time. The study results provide essential reference value and scientific significance in guidance for preventing sand foundations from liquefying.

To foster the exploration and exploitation of oil reservoirs in Northern Shaanxi, an investigation into the attributes of sand bodies and depositional facies within the Yan 8 oil layer formation in Area X was conducted, utilizing core samples, mud logs, and well-logging data. Building upon core descriptions, an analysis was performed on individual-well depositional facies, continuous-well depositional facies, as well as areal depositional facies. It is postulated that the Yan 8 interval in the study region represents a fluvially-dominated delta plain setting, characterized by three primary developments: distributary channels, natural levees, and inter-channel swamps as micro-environments. Vertically, the sand bodies of the Yan 8 oil layer formation are discontinuous, primarily comprising distributary channels and inter-channel swamps. Horizontally, the Yan 8 oil layer formation features 10 river channels, which are arranged in a linear fashion on the plane, extending in a northwest-southeast direction. These channel deposits form the principal framework of the sand body structure and also serve as the main zones for oil and gas accumulation.
