Let G = (V, E) be a connected graph and d(u, v) denote the distance between the vertices u and v in G. A set of vertices W resolves a graph G if every vertex is uniquely determined by its vector of distances to the vertices in W. A metric dimension of G is the minimum cardinality of a resolving set of G and is denoted by dim(G). Let J2n,m be a m-level gear graph obtained by m-level wheel graph W2n,m ≅ mC2n + k1 by alternatively deleting n spokes of each copy of C2n and J3n be a generalized gear graph obtained by alternately deleting 2n spokes of the wheel graph W3n. In this paper, the metric dimension of certain gear graphs J2n,m and J3n generated by wheel has been computed. Also this study extends the previous result given by Tomescu et al. in 2007.
A topological index, also known as connectivity index, is a molecular structure descriptor calculated from a molecular graph of a chemical compound which characterizes its topology. Various topological indices are categorized based on their degree, distance, and spectrum. In this study, we calculated and analyzed the degree-based topological indices such as first general Zagreb index M r G , geometric arithmetic index GA G , harmonic index H G , general version of harmonic index H r G , sum connectivity index λ G , general sum connectivity index λ r G , forgotten topological index F G , and many more for the Robertson apex graph. Additionally, we calculated the newly developed topological indices such as the AG 2 G and Sanskruti index for the Robertson apex graph G.
Topological index sometimes called molecular descriptor is a numerical value which associates a chemical composition for correlating chemical structure with numerous physical properties, chemical reactivity, or biological activity. In this paper, we study some topological indices of boron and try to correlate the physicochemical properties such as freezing points, boiling points, melting points, infrared spectrum, electronic parameters, viscosity, and density of chemical graphs. We discuss these topological indices, and some of them are mentioned here such as Randic index, the first general Zagreb index, the general sum connectivity index, hyper-Zagreb index (HM), the atom-bond connectivity index (ABC), the geometric-arithmetic index (GA), the harmonic index (H), and the forgotten index (F).
Atoms displayed as vertices and bonds can be shown by edges on a molecular graph. For such graphs we can find the indices showing their bioactivity as well as their physio-chemical properties such as the molar refraction, molar volume, chromatographic behavior, heat of atomization, heat of vaporization, magnetic susceptibility, and the partition coefficient. Today, industry is flourishing because of the interdisciplinary study of different disciplines. This provides a way to understand the application of different disciplines. Chemical graph theory is a mixture of chemistry and mathematics, which plays an important role in chemical graph theory. Chemistry provides a chemical compound, and graph theory transforms this chemical compound into a molecular graphwhich further is studied by different aspects such as topological indices. We will investigate some indices of the line graph of the subdivided graph (para-line graph) of linear-[s] Anthracene and multiple Anthracene.
Fuzzy graph theory was invented by Rosenfeld. It is the extension of the work of L.A. Zadeh on fuzzy sets. Rosenfeld extracted the fuzzy-related concepts using the graph theoretic concepts. Topological indices for crisp theory have already been discussed in the literature but these days, topological index-related fuzzy graphs are much popular. Fuzzy graphs are being used as an application in different fields of sciences such as broadcast, communications, producing, social network, man-made reasoning, data hypothesis, and neural systems. In this paper, we have computed some fuzzy topological indices such as first and second Zagreb indices, Randic index, and harmonic index of fuzzy chemical graph named phenylene.
