Prof. Dr. Joel Andersson

Prof. Dr. Joel Andersson is a distinguished professor and Director of Production Technology, as well as assistant head of research within the Department of Engineering Science at University West. He holds a bachelor’s in Material Science from the University of Dalarna and also holds a master’s in Materials Processes from the Royal Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Chalmers University of Technology. His field of research primarily covers welding and weldability of high-temperature materials, precipitation hardening, and Ni- and Ni-Fe-based superalloys.
