Ryszard Sroka received M.Sc., Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering at the AGH - University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland in 1989, 1995 and 2009, respectively.
He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Metrology and Electronics, and Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at AGH-UST. He is an author and co-author of 9 books and of over 130 scientific papers. He is a member of the Society of Weigh-in-Motion Society of ITS Poland and the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society. The field of his interests covers the measurements of nonelectrical quantities, phase angles, parameters of road traffic; modeling and simulations of measurement systems and data fusion in measurements. Prof. Sroka was Co-Investigator in 7 projects founded by the Polish Ministry of Science, and Principal Investigator in 4 projects.
