Background/Objectives: Lifestyle-related diseases such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and osteoarthritis disproportionately affect women due to hormonal, metabolic, and socio-cultural factors. Emerging evidence suggests that combining structured exercise with nano-curcumin, a bioavailable phytochemical formulation with potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, may provide synergistic benefits. This scoping review systematically synthesizes available evidence on the combined effects of nano-curcumin supplementation and exercise interventions on health outcomes in women with lifestyle-related diseases. Methods: Following the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology and the PRISMA-ScR framework, a comprehensive database search was conducted in March 2025 and updated in June 2025. Records were retrieved from Scopus (n = 30), Web of Science (n = 22), PubMed (n = 18), and other sources (n = 71), yielding a total of 141 studies. After screening and deduplication, eight studies met the inclusion criteria and were included in this review. All the studies were conducted in Iran with small sample sizes (12–53 participants) and short intervention durations (6–16 weeks). Therefore, the current evidence is geographically and demographically limited. Results: Across the included trials, the combined interventions produced additive or synergistic improvements in oxidative stress markers, inflammatory cytokines, lipid and glucose metabolism, cardiovascular function, pulmonary capacity, muscle fitness, and psychological outcomes (e.g., depression). When paired with nano-curcumin supplementation at different concentrations, high-intensity interval training, aerobic exercise, Pilates, and resistance training consistently outperformed exercise or supplementation alone in modulating antioxidant defenses, reducing systemic inflammation, and improving metabolic risk factors. Conclusions: The integration of exercise and nano-curcumin supplementation appears to confer superior benefits for women with lifestyle-related diseases compared with either approach alone. These findings highlight the potential of combining phytochemicals with lifestyle interventions to optimize women’s health outcomes. However, most available evidence originates from small, short-term studies in single geographic regions. Large-scale, multicenter, randomized controlled trials with diverse populations are warranted to establish standardized protocols and optimal dosing strategies, and to assess long-term safety and efficacy.

This research explored how a planned physical education program, which combined team sports, mindfulness activities, and reflective exercises, could support the mental health of high school adolescents. Using a quasi-experimental design with pre- and post-assessments, the study included 60 teenagers (30 boys and 30 girls, aged 15–17) who were randomly divided into an experimental group (n = 30) and a control group (n = 30). Over eight weeks, the intervention group participated in structured sessions focused on emotional regulation, while the control group continued with standard physical education. Psychological outcomes were assessed using the Emotional Balance Scale (EBS), Self-Esteem Inventory (SEI), and Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). Analyses included Shapiro-Wilk tests, Cronbach’s alpha, paired t-tests, and a 2×2 Mixed-Design ANOVA. The intervention group showed significant improvements in emotional balance (M = 2.90 to 4.60; p < 0.01, d = 2.002), self-esteem (M = 41.00 to 57.50; p < 0.001, d = 2.134), and reduced stress (M = 19.80 to 12.10; p < 0.01, d = –2.432). No significant changes occurred in the control group. ANOVA confirmed significant Group × Time interactions (p < 0.001) with large effect sizes (η² > 0.38). These findings demonstrate that integrating emotional development strategies into physical education can significantly enhance adolescents’ psychological well-being. The results support incorporating structured, multidimensional programs into school curricula to improve emotional regulation, self-esteem, and stress resilience.

Small-sided games (SSGs) are widely used in soccer training to simultaneously develop technical, tactical, and physical abilities. Session structure, particularly duration and distribution (continuous vs intermittent), represents a key programming variable that may influence players’ mood, technical performance, and physiological responses. However, the specific effects of different SSG formats remain insufficiently clarified. This study aimed to examine how varying bout configurations (1 × 12 min, 2 × 6 min, and 3 × 4 min) during 4 vs 4 SSGs affect mood states, technical–tactical performance, and physiological responses in male soccer players. Twenty male semiprofessional soccer players (age: 20.7 ± 0.7 years) completed 3 SSG formats performed on separate occasions: 1 × 12 min, 2 × 6 min, and 3 × 4 min. Mood was assessed pre- and post-session using the Profile of Mood States questionnaire. Physiological responses included percentage of maximal heart rate (%HRmax), blood lactate concentration ([La]), and rating of perceived exertion (RPE). Technical–tactical variables were analyzed through systematic video-based performance assessment. The 12-minute continuous SSGs significantly improved mood, evidenced by reductions in depression, confusion, tension, anger, and total mood disturbance, although fatigue increased post-session. In contrast, the 2 × 6 min format led to increases in depression and anger, while the 3 × 4 min format showed no significant mood changes. Technical–tactical performance was superior during the 12-minute condition, with higher passing accuracy, greater tackle success, and fewer turnovers compared to intermittent formats. Physiologically, the continuous 12-minute SSGs elicited higher %HRmax and rating of perceived exertion values than both intermittent conditions, as well as slightly higher blood lactate concentrations compared to the 3 × 4 min format. A continuous 12-minute 4 vs 4 SSGs appears to provide the most effective integrated training stimulus, enhancing mood regulation, technical–tactical performance, and physiological load. These findings suggest that uninterrupted SSG formats may better simulate match demands and support optimal psychophysiological adaptations in semiprofessional soccer players.

This research delves into the epidemiology, clinical manifestations, and management of hyperprolactinemia, particularly focusing on prolactin-secreting pituitary adenomas, or prolactinomas, in Dolj County, a region historically underrepresented in medical literature. Hyperprolactinemia, a prevalent endocrine disorder, arises from excessive prolactin secretion by the pituitary gland's lactotrope cells and presents a diverse clinical picture. The most significant etiological contributors identified are prolactinomas, accounting for approximately 39% of all secretory pituitary tumors. In light of hyperprolactinemia's substantial morbidity and prevalence, this study underscores the necessity of comprehensive understanding of its regional epidemiology and clinical presentations. Our methodology incorporated collecting retrospective data across various medical facilities in Dolj, ensuing a meticulous analysis of clinical features, paraclinical investigation outcomes, and therapeutic responses among patients with prolactinomas. Emphasis was placed on discerning risk factors, demographic characteristics, and associated comorbidities to encapsulate the full spectrum of these tumors' impact within the community. Preliminary results suggest a nuanced incidence rate of prolactinomas within Dolj, with specific demographic and clinical trends potentially distinct from those reported in wider literature. These findings stress the critical role of localized studies in enhancing screening, diagnostic, and therapeutic protocols. Ultimately, this investigation offers critical insights into the epidemiology and symptomatology of prolactinomas in Dolj, significantly augmenting existing literature and informing regional medical practices.
