Dr. Ziming Kou

Prof. Dr. Ziming Kou currently serves as a professor and master supervisor at the Mining Mechanical, Electro-hydraulic Research Center, School of Mechanical Engineering, Taiyuan University of Technology (Taiyuan, China). He is a senior member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Shanxi Provincial Mechanical Engineering Society, a member of the Shanxi Provincial Coal Accident Technical Appraisal Expert Group, a member of the Shanxi Provincial Safety Production Expert Group, and Taiyuan Key Chief technology consultant for technology projects. He also serves as a Visiting Professor of the Xi’an University of Science and Technology, Datong University, and Chongqing Engineering Vocational and Technical College. Prof. Dr. Kou was awarded the second prize of the National Technology Invention Award and the Shanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award 11 times, including 1 first prize for invention, 1 second prize for invention, and 6 second prizes for scientific and technological progress. His main research areas include Mechanical Optimization Design, Hydraulic Control System, and Mechanical System Modeling and Simulation.
