Associate Professor Joseph Ciorciari is the former Director of the Brain & Psychological Sciences Research Centre and the former Deputy Head of the Psychological Sciences & Statistics Department at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. He has also led the undergraduate Psychology/Psychophysiology Major as Discipline Coordinator for over 20 years, producing hundreds of graduates; many are members of the Australian Psychophysiology Society. He is a nominated member of the international Frontiers Editorial Board, Editor for the Behavioural Science journal, a reviewer for the Australian Research Council and former Australian Chair of the Neuromarketing Science and Business Association (NMSBA). The major focus of his research has been the investigation of the neurobiological basis of neurotypical and abnormal personality using a multidisciplinary methodology.
