Jianfei Liu is a professor at Hebei University of Technology and a council member of Tianjin Institute of Communications. He received his Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University in 2003. He joined the Modern Optics Institute at Nankai University as a Postdoctoral research fellow from 2003 to 2005. As a visiting scholar, he visited Bath University and Central Florida University in 2004 and 2009, respectively. His current research interests include optical fiber communication, optical fiber sensor, and digital signal processing in relevant fields.
