Prof. Dr. Fenglin Zhong is the Vice Dean of the College of Horticulture at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. In addition, he also serves as a member of the Expert Guidance Group for the Mechanization of Vegetable Production in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, a director of the Chinese Horticultural Society, and a member of the Chinese Agricultural Engineering Facility Horticulture Special Committee. He has been awarded multiple titles such as Minjiang Science Communication Scholar, Fujian Province's Top Ten Science Communication Figures, Fujian Province's Millions of Talent Engineering Talents, and Fujian Province's New Century Talents in Universities. He has won 3 second prizes for scientific and technological progress in Fujian Province, 1 first prize for teaching achievements in Fujian Province, and 2 first prizes for school teaching achievements. His research areas include the creation of vegetable germplasm resources and the breeding of new varieties, as well as the cultivation of high-quality facility vegetables and mechanization.
