Mihael Cipek received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering in 2015 from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. Since 2020, he has held the position of an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture of the University of Zagreb, where he teaches subjects in hybrid electric vehicles, mechatronics, and fluid power. He participated in research and technology projects supported by the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Croatia, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), and the European Commission (Horizon 2020). His research interests include the modeling, optimization, and control of hybrid powertrains for road, off-road, and railway vehicles.
