Wang Shuliang is a professor at the Beijing Institute of Technology, the Executive Dean of the E-Government Research Institute, and one of the National Leading Talents in scientific and technological innovation. He acts as the vice chairman of the Chinese Manufacturing Enterprise Double Innovation Development Alliance, the Director of the Cognitive and Behavior Professional Committee of the Chinese Command and Control Society, and the Chief Scientist of the National Key Research and Development Program. He mainly studies data mining, discovering the mathematical nature of spatial data mining. His monograph "Spatial Data Mining Theory and Application" ranks first in Springer Nature’s computer-specific monographs and was praised as "a landmark masterpiece of spatial data mining" by "Science Bulletin". His papers have been published in Cell Patterns, etc. Moreover, his authorized national invention patents support big data intelligence, and the promulgation of his national standard is standardizing legal aid.
