Changing business models is a topical issue in a pandemic. Recent research has shown that the search for environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions in various sectors has become relevant. The article aims to promote cooperation and adaptation of good practices between countries. Comparing the country’s history and economic situation and economic development and traditions can be seen as a precondition for success. The article examines the introduction of sharing economy and the creation of environment-friendly trends establishing a circular economy by minimizing the population’s expenses, online business growth, and accessibility of Internet technologies. The article explores the difference between the linear economic model and the circular model by adopting sharing and the efficient joint use of materials to enhance and assess sustainable development. Based on a combination of theoretical and practical research, the article explores the dynamic system and development model of sharing a circular economy. The new concept of circular economy does not promote the overproduction of new goods but the rational use of already produced ones, which significantly reduces the amount of waste generated at all stages of the product life cycle. Population groups by different income groups for sharing services are analysed. An analysis of the price characteristics of popular sharing products was used from data from Internet portals. One concludes that due to the increase in Internet users, especially mobile apps, and social networks, C2C sharing has become quite popular over the past years. Other areas also show positive development indicators but have less demand, affecting supply. Based on an in-depth study of the economic situation in Ukraine, the authors have critically chosen an industry to set as an example with the actual business situation. Therefore, three packages were created: pessimistic, standard and optimistic ones with different characteristics of implementing circular economic projects. The chosen method allows rational management decisions for attracting financing and sustainable solutions. The company’s business scenarios analysed in the article will allow to choose a system based on circular economy principles successfully.

For the Ukrainian population, there are factors surrounding the choices and preferences one must consider when changing permanent residence. Smart residential areas should be built according to Ukrainian legislation and global innovations, which would reduce administrative dislocations, the load on megalopolises, and negative anthropogenic impacts, and should be based on the increase in energy efficiency and reducing waste. We analyzed the core principles of designing smart residential areas and concluded that constructing cutting-edge residential areas should involve private investments in order to avoid shadow schemes and irrational use of funds (in the Ukraine, the share of the shadow market is more than 50%). Research shows that, as humans inhabit a three-dimensional space, it is possible to predict migration and other permanent residence/behavioral responses, the analysis of which allows controlling migration flows and improves the conditions of Ukraine’s small residential areas based on decarbonization. We conclude that energy saving systems can reduce consumption in a city by 60% and improve Ukraine’s ecosystem. Research also shows that reducing “dislocation”, in terms of population density, by creating open, innovative, eco-friendly environments based on green economy principles, can provide innovative development maps and economic, social, and cultural population growth, decreasing the load on big cities/regional economies, and encourage the restoration of sales markets and production after the COVID-19 pandemic. We developed a model to assess the innovativeness of residential areas, apply alternative methods of energy generation, and analyze the impact of the energy production and consumption market in Europe (with recommendations for the Ukraine). This article estimates energy intensity indicators of the gross domestic product in the Ukraine and in Europe, offering methods to decrease energy dependence and increase energy efficiency in the Ukraine, by adopting alternative energy sources (e.g., biohydrogen out of residues, air, and solar energy), and enhancing environmental legislation.

Balancing of the tourism services’ development and natural environment’ opportunities is problem during anthropogenic effect is increasing. Migration of the population is increasing with the growing of the globalization process. As a result there is a duality in the development of tourist infrastructure and increasing the influence of tourists on ecology, changing of ecosystem. The article deals with the factors influencing the choice of tourists, tourist flows, analysis of the countries, where there is the greatest attendance of places of the rest. The correlation coefficient between indicators of environmental safety and tourists’ attendance is calculated. On the example of the Kyiv region, dynamic indicators and the relationship between emissions of harmful substances and environmental costs, as well as the number of tourists, were calculated. Three recreation areas on the Black Sea coast in the territory of three different countries are analyzed. Conclusions about different degrees of water’s and coastal area’s pollution and the Odessa coast’s pollution as a whole are made. Pollution of the Black Sea whole loch affects on the environment degradation of cross-border territories and tends to dampen the attractiveness for the recreation’s development of the sea rest. The analysis of pollutant emissions and the accumulated waste in the Odessa region is made and the anthropogenic effect on the coastal areas of the Black Sea region in Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania is compared. The consequences of austerity on the environment preservation are explored and described. It leads to losses that are arise from decrease of the employability of local inhabitants and their diseases, of natural resources’ depletion, increasing of probability of natural disasters in the long term. In the article the conclusions about the effect of the tourists’ traffic and its’ influence on the ecology of the recreation areas and the slow anthropogenic impact on the new territories are made. The ways and solutions of modernization and reconstruction of the objects of the tourism infrastructure are suggested. They should to aim at increasing of the tourism’s traffic and enhance new and modern buildings of the recreation infrastructure.

Purpose. The paper substantiates the approach to managing the renewal of ecosystems of territories and the renovation of infrastructure using investment support and resource rationalization based on the financial development of a sustainable built environment. Methodology. The methodology is based on a study of the investment and financial resources that can be used to rebuild destroyed infrastructure, and it was carried out using analytical methods to assess infrastructure renovation costs, statistical methods of data analysis on the state of the environmental and economic systems, as well as mathematical modeling and balance methods for the formation of a green city model. Findings. The investment potential of Ukraine was analyzed, and a conclusion was made about the feasibility of implementing the project, increasing the economic efficiency of smart green cities, which creates prerequisites for further infrastructure renovation in Ukraine. The study reveals the key economic and environmental problems of Ukraine, suggests ways of overcoming them, and offers a model for developing the territories destroyed by military action. An approach to the renovation of the territory based on the restoration of the ecosystems of the regions and cities and the creation of comfortable conditions for the return of citizens to their homeland is proposed. Originality. The article outlines the basic principles for renovating a destroyed infrastructure based on energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. The possibilities of financing environmental projects in the post-war restoration of the national economy are considered. Practical value. The proposed approach makes it possible to evaluate investments in infrastructure renovation and ensure effective management of financial development in a sustainable-built environment.

Introduction. With the development of the economy, the amount of waste increases per capita, the number of packaging materials and the total of goods, the life cycle of which ends in the transformation into waste. Due to the slow development of waste recycling in Ukraine, the problem of their accumulation is aggravated with the increasing impact of waste landfills, which are increasing and becoming an area of increased risk, which leads to a decrease in the welfare of the population and a reduction in labor productivity. Aim and tasks. The goal of this work is to analyze the problem of waste accumulation and find ways to reduce environmental pollution as an effective way to improve the well-being of the population and increase the economic and environmental potential of Ukraine. Results. The article analyzes ways to solve the problem, taking into account the realities and positive experience of developed countries, where waste recycling has become a lucrative business and is based on the secondary use of waste and its return to the life cycle as a commodity. Identified corruption links between business and government, inefficient use of budget funds, slows down the transition to complete waste recycling, and leads to a distortion of the free market system on a competitive basis and the impossibility of foreign investors interested in running a transparent and environmentally friendly business in the field of waste recycling. The structure of the main components of household waste and the distribution of the time of their decomposition are revealed, and a diagram of the negative impact of landfills on the environment and waste management is given. The article discusses the principles of state regulation, which can improve the situation in the field of waste utilization and environmental welfare of the population. Conclusions. An analysis of modern approaches in the field of waste utilization, both liquid and solid, has shown that the main method of waste utilization is recycling as the basis of the general concept of Zerowaste for the countries with a high level of development. In Ukraine, the formation of regulators and tools to overcome the garbage crisis is slow and does not lead to significant changes. It has been substantiated that, on the basis of internalizing external effects and assisting the population in minimizing negative impacts, it is possible to achieve a reduction in overproduction of goods and services with negative external effects. Significant progress in the utilization process is possible only in the case of investment attractiveness of waste recycling business, institutional changes in tax and customs tariff legislation, macroeconomic and financial stabilization in the country.
