Information

Prof. Omar Hamed Mohamed Abdel Kader, Professor and Faculty Member, Department of Physics and ‎Astronomy, College of Science, Kind Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Member of the Training and ‎Community Partnership Unit, Technical Director of the Electron Microscope Unit, Faculty Member, and ‎Researcher specializes in the synthesis of nanostructures, inorganic and magnetic materials, and solving ‎the ‎internal structures and determining the physical properties of materials using electron microscopy ‎and ‎X-rays. He works to characterize these types of materials using X-ray diffraction, X-ray ‎fluorescence ‎spectrum, EDS maps of the micro-composition of elements, magnetic properties, alternating ‎and ‎continuous electrical conductivity, real and imaginary isolation constants, thermal properties ‎using ‎‎(DTA, TGA), and optical properties. He prepares and equips photovoltaic cells, measuring ‎their ‎efficiency through voltage measurements with current in darkness and light.‎. In addition to teaching ‎theoretical and experimental physics courses, also teaches electron microscopy courses, examining and ‎characterizing biological and non-biological samples using scanning electron microscopy. certified trainer ‎at the Deanship of Skills Development at King Saud University and a certified trainer at the Saudi Chemical ‎Society.
