Prof. Dr. David Morales-Morales carried out his B.Sc (Mexico, 1992) and M.Sc (Mexico, 1995) at the Chemistry School of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and was awarded his Ph.D. from Essex University (UK, 1998). The beneficiary of the CONACyT repatriation program, after 3 years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (USA), he took a position at the Instituto de Química, UNAM (Mexico, 2001).
