PhD. Chem. Marius LUNGULESCU, senior researcher, graduated in 2005 the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Bucharest, obtained his master degree, in Chemical-Physics and Applied Radiochemistry at the same university in 2007 and he received his PhD in 2015 at the University of Bucharest. He has a wide experience in different fields of Physical Chemistry and Materials Science, including radiation processing of materials, materials degradation under the action of different stress factors and durability evaluation, antioxidant and stability of different materials, radiation synthesis of metallic nanoparticles; Material characterization by different analytical techniques: FTIR, UV-Vis, Raman, DSC, CL, GC. Staff member since 2005 of National R&D Institute in Electrical Engineering, he is the head of the Laboratory of Radiochemistry and Polymeric Materials. Following the experience achieved as researcher in more than 30 national and international projects (4 as project director and 2 as project responsible), he is author/co-author of more than 50 ISI papers, more than 500 citations, 4 book chapters and 7 patents.
