Diana Kalibatiene (Prof. Dr. of Technological Sciences) is a full-time professor at the Department of Information Systems, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH). She defended her Ph.D. at VILNIUS TECH (2009) on "Ontology-Based Development of Domain Rules". She has co-authored over 100 research papers and two books ("Advanced Databases" and "Scientific Research and Innovations in Computer Sciences"). Her research interests include business rules, ontology-based information systems development, conceptual modelling, dynamic business process modelling, multi-criteria decision making, fuzzy theory application in quality planning, systematic literature review, and bibliometric analysis. She actively participates in the Erasmus+ teacher mobility programme, giving lectures at European universities. She has supervised 3 PhD students and participated in several PhD defence committees. She coordinated the Erasmus+ KA220-HED project "Embracing rapid application development (RAD) skills opportunity as a catalyst for employability and innovation" (RAD-Skills) (2022-2024). From 2022, she has been Editor-in-Chief of the journal "New Trends in Computer Sciences" and a member of the Steering Committee of the Baltic DB&IS Conference. Since 2023, she has co-chaired the Annual ACM Symposium on Applied Computing Track "Intelligent Systems for Digital Era". She actively reviews scientific papers, project proposals, and other works, contributing to the education of young scientists.
