Yan Li completed her Ph.D. in Optics CREOL at the College of Optics and Photonics, University of Central Florida, USA in 2012 and her M.S. in Optical Engineering at Zhejiang University, China in 2007. Subsequently, she worked at Magic Leap Inc. USA as a senior optical engineer in 2012–2014. She joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2014, where she is now an associate professor. Her research interests include 3D display, augmented reality optics, blue phase liquid crystal material and devices, and liquid crystal displays.
