Gabriel graduated in biological physics and obtained his master's degree in Molecular Biophysics. He is currently a final-year PhD student in Molecular Biophysics with emphasis in the investigation of interactions between proteins and small molecules with pharmacological interest by means of experimental and computational approaches. He has solid experience in experimental analysis of protein-ligand complex based on steady-state fluorescence spectroscopy, time-resolved fluorescence, UV-VIS absorption and circular dichroism. His experience extends to computational biophysics including molecular docking, molecular dynamics and ab initio electronic structure calculations. He has complementary experience in scanning and transmission electronic microscopy, confocal microscopy and atomic force microscopy (AFM).
