Prof. Dr. Nour Attia

Dr. Attia received his B.S. degree from the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science , Alexandria University and his M.S. degree from the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science, Cairo University, Egypt. Then he went to south Korea to join Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) for his doctoral degree and got it from the School of Material Science and Engineering at GIST, South Korea. His research interest focus in preparation and characterization of nanocomposite and nanoporous materials for energy storage applications. Metal and polymer nanoparticles synthesis and applications, and carbon nanomaterials and its applications. Also his interest include graphene exfoliation and characterization for various applications. This in conjunction with his research interest for preparation and characterization of flame retardant materials for polymeric, textile and wood materials. Synthesis and characterization of novel nanomaterials for water treatments anticancer and antibacterial applications Dr. Nour Published around 46 papers in reputable impact factor international journals, and presented in 25 international conferences around the world. Some of his research articles highlighted as cover picture of the journals. Also he published 5 international patents, Dr. Attia is a member of many international scientific association over the world and work as referee for a number of international journals.
