MOHAMED ABDEIN was born in Sohag, Egypt, in 1978. MOHAMED ABDEIN is an Assistant Professor of Biology, Plants, and Genetics at Biology Dept., Fac., of Arts and Science, Northern Border Univ. (NBU), Saudi Arabia since 2010, a private Biology and Genetics, specializing in Quantitative Genetics, Genetic Engineering and Molecular Biology, Plant Breeding, Plant tissue culture, Before joining NBU, MOHAMED ABDEIN worked as Lecturer and plant breeder at the Vegetable Breeding Dept., Horticulture Inst., ARC, Giza, Egypt ten years. He has been the plant breeding director programs of the Seeds Development Department, El-Nada Misr Scientific Research and Development Projects, Mansoura, Egypt since 2021; he also, produced and registered many vegetable hybrids.
MOHAMED ABDEIN having graduated in June 2000 from the Genetics Dept. Faculty of Agriculture, Assiut University, Egypt with a B.Sc. in Genetics. MOHAMED ABDEIN has a M.Sc., in Genetics from the Genetics Dept., Faculty of Agriculture, Mansoura University, Egypt, in March 2005. MOHAMED ABDEIN has a Ph.D., in Genetics from Genetics Dept. Faculty of Agriculture, Mansoura University, Egypt, and September 2016. His main areas of research interest are plant breeding, molecular markers; survey the flora of wild and aromatic plants. His current research interests include using quantitative genetics and molecular markers to improve the yield and qualities of vegetable crops and Plant breeding for disease resistance, climate change.
