Jean Lévêque received his PhD in electrical engineering at the University of Grenoble in 1993. He joined the Group of Research in Electrical Engineering of Nancy (GREEN) of the University of Nancy the same year. In 2007, Dr. Lévêque was the recipient of a full professor position at the University of Lorraine. His research interests include the application of the superconductor's materials in electrical engineering, their electrical characterization, and their modeling. To this date, he has designed and tested four superconducting motors.
