Field tests verified and evaluated a pesticide’s active ingredient transfer to honeybee hives from rapeseed crops protected according to current programs. Samples of rapeseed flowers, leaves, and soil were collected, as well as of worker honeybees, the brood, and honey from hives located in the crops. They were evaluated for the presence of four insecticides and five fungicides. In flower samples and leaf samples flutriafol at plantation 1 and azoxystrobin at plantation 2 were found at the highest levels. In honeybees and in the brood, five AIs were detected at plantation 1, of which the highest levels were observed for flutriafol (25.5 μg/kg of honeybee) and picoxystrobin (7.3 μg/kg of brood). At plantation 2, residues of three and two AIs were detected in honeybees and in the brood, respectively, of which chlorpyrifos was at the highest level (19.5 μg/kg of honeybee, and 2.8 μg/kg of brood). For both plantations, residues of three AIs were found in honey. The AI levels in honey did not exceed 3.8% of acceptable maximum residue level at plantation 1, and 2.8% at plantation 2. The percentage of acceptable daily intake did not exceed 0.01%.

In recent years, general studies on Selective Laser Melting (SLM)/Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)/direct metal deposition (DMD) technologies, as well as studies on detailed issues in this area, have been carried out. However, a research gap is observed in investigations into the features of single tracks in the above-mentioned technologies. On the basis of data published in 2016–2019, an approach was adopted for a preliminary quantitative analysis of the knowledge base and also trends observed in the development of new technologies. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of the data mining technique based on the Bayes algorithm for analyzing trends in processes of additive manufacturing and the practical application of the knowledge received using the Bayes algorithm. After the analyses referred to above were completed, single and double layers of a composite material based on the Ni-based alloy and Fe–Al bronze were analyzed under different processing conditions. The effects of laser spot speeds and pitches on microhardness, microstructure, and interlayers’ features were described. So, the innovative approach, namely, the combination of the analysis of the scientific database of the phenomenon under study and the subsequent experimental investigation of its features, is the scientific novelty of the present study.

Knowledge is a corporate resource, being grounds for initiating activities, which is important in a dynamic economy. The difficulties related to obtaining tacit knowledge, related primarily to experience and observation of the knowledge employee (Mendryk, 2011), encourage the companies to use tools supporting knowledge management and location. This article attempts at designing a dedicated, strategic knowledge map for a research and development department in a manufacturing company. Based on the reference works, the detailed characteristics of specific sources of knowledge in a manufacturing company and tools supporting the process of converting the tacit knowledge into explicit one, for example, the knowledge maps, were devised. Then, a strategic knowledge map model was designed for the research and development department (hereinafter abbreviated as SKM – R&D) in the manufacturing company, comprising the following components: (1) fields of knowledge, (2) internal and external processes in the R&D department, and (3) sources of knowledge. Then, a practical implementation of the SKM – R&D model was presented.

This article elaborates the authors’ method for tacit knowledge acquisition focused on a research and development department in a manufacturing company. It presents a case study of the use of concepts for tacit knowledge acquisition and is based on a survey and data obtained from 85 Polish and German Manufacturing Companies from the cross-border cooperation region of Lubuskie/Poland – Brandenburg/Germany. This article develops a framework of tacit knowledge acquisition in a manufacturing company and further discusses the research results.

This paper presents the experimental tests of concrete made on the recycled aggregates basis. Tests were carried out to determine the concrete suitability for construction purposes. The physical and strength properties were determined for three types of recycling aggregates. The aggregates were obtained from sanitary ceramics ‘SC’ (washbasins and toilet bowls), building ceramics ‘BC’ (solid bricks), and concrete rubble ‘CR’. The results obtained in tests of compressive strength, bending tensile strength, water absorption, total shrinkage, watertightness, and frost resistance of concrete made of SC and CR aggregates gave grounds for stating its suitability for structural purposes. Concrete based on the BC aggregates is not recommended for structural applications.

Combining the knowledge about additive manufacturing technologies available in the literature with the results of empirical research in Polish manufacturing enterprises, regarding the implementation of AM, using the Bayesian network, will allow the recent demand for AM technologies to be defined in the context of an industry’s needs. The main purpose of the study is to build a new model that integrates: (1) knowledge about the implementation of AM in manufacturing companies, gained from the literature, (2) knowledge about the demands and state of the use of AM from 250 Polish metal and automotive manufacturing enterprises, and (3) Bayesian networks. The results reveal that the model developed is able to accurately detect the key determinants of the implementation process of AM technologies within a manufacturing company and identify the specific requirements for the further implementation of additive technologies. The freshness of our work is defining the demand for AM technology based on the knowledge gained from literature and knowledge received through empirical study. The possibilities of using the results of research in economic practice were demonstrated. This new approach can be treated as a solution, which will both direct and help mangers to take the decision to implement AM technologies.
