Andrea Cereatti is currently an Associate Professor at the Politecnico di Torino (Italy). He obtained an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering cum laude at the ROMA TRE University in 2002. He received a Ph.D. in Bioengineering at the University of Bologna in 2006. He served on the board of directors of the Italian Society of Clinical Movement Analysis from 2009 to 2013 and of the 3D Analysis of Human Movement Technical Group of the ISB from 2014 to 2018. He was an Assistant Professor and
Associate Professor at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Sassari. He is a member of GNB, the Italian national group of bioengineering. He is also a Vice President of the Italian Society of Clinical Movement Analysis. He won the National Research Award of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia conferred by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, Italy in 2012.
