Prof. Dr. Adel Ben Mnaouer is a Professor of Computer Science at Prince Sultan University. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Ecole Superieure de Communication in 1985, his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Fukui in 1993, and his Ph.D. in Computer
Engineering from the University of Fukui in 1993. He joined Prince Sultan University in September 2023. Before this assignment, he worked at the Canadian University Dubai, first as an Associate Professor (2012–2017) and then as a Full Professor (2018–2023). He also served previously at various other
Universities, such as the Dar Al Uloom University, Saudi Arabia, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and Yokohama National University, Japan. Dr. Ben Mnaouer has over 25 years of teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. His research portfolio includes one PoC project + four QNRF-NPRP funded projects worth USD 3.7 million, two US patents (under commercialization and
Marketability study), two books, two book chapters, and over 130 cited Journal and Conference publications. He was the recipient of the Best Workshop Award in IWCMC 2019 and the Best Researcher Award in 2016 (Canadian University Dubai), and was Listed in the Marquis Who’s Who in Engineering in 2000. He has been a senior member of the IEEE Communication Society since 2009.
