Dr. Alden Meirzhanovich Dochshanov is a scientific coordinator at the EU-Track Association (Italy). He earned his PhD degree in Innovative Technologies for Materials, Sensors, and Imaging from Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II” with a specialisation in materials engineering applied to biological objects (SERS). After graduating from the Kazakh National Technical University with a degree in Electronics Engineering (2006), he worked as a physics engineer at the Institute of Physics and Technology in Almaty and as a chief scientist at the Kazakh-British Technical University. The main experience he obtained was in the synthesis and characterisation of nanomaterials, as well as the design and development of equipment for the thin semiconducting films' characterisation. Upon the conclusion of his doctorate, he collaborated with the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of Università “La Sapienza” in Rome and was involved in research activities in artificial intelligence and microelectromechanical systems (MEMSs). His current research activities and professional interests are in the field of educational robotics and learning technologies.
