Information

My main research field is Materials Technology and Manufacturing Engineering, especially focusing on the analysis of metal and plastic forming and additive manufacturing processes through computer-aided engineering tools, analytical methods, and experimental testing. Nowadays, I am working on the study of phenomena such as damage and friction in the efficiency and formability of metal-forming processes; the analysis of the influence of process parameters in the performance of parts produced via additive manufacturing techniques such as FDM (fused deposition modelling) and WAAM (wire and arc additive manufacturing); and the development of methodologies for material selection in the manufacturing of components for demanding applications. I belong to the Research Group of the UNED "Industrial Production and Manufacturing Engineering-(IPME).
