Dr. Fuming Tzu is an accomplished engineer with over three decades of experience. He graduated from the Taiwan Naval Academy in 1990, where he specialized in nautical and marine engineering. He then went on to study advanced marine courses at the US Naval Marine School, gaining invaluable knowledge and honing his skills. In 2000, Dr. Tzu obtained an M.S. degree in engineering and science from the National Cheng Kung University of Taiwan. Following his graduation, he worked with imaging scanners, gaining hands-on experience in the latest technologies. Dr. Tzu specialized in automatic optical inspection (AOI) in the flat panel display (FPD) industry and made significant contributions to the development of this cutting-edge technology. He also ventured into the field of solar and renewable energy, leading teams that developed innovative solutions and established successful businesses. Dr. Tzu returned to academia in 2016, joining the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology as an assistant professor at the Department of Marine Engineering. He has since been promoted to associate professor, and his extensive knowledge and industry experience have enabled him to inspire and mentor the next generation of talented engineers. His achievements have made him a highly respected and admired figure in the engineering community.
