Her career has focused on the physiology and production of citrus fruits, and she is currently developing research in sustainable production techniques for citrus cultivation, including the use of biostimulants, growth regulators, and pruning; the use of mesh to avoid the presence of seeds in mandarins; and the development of new low-seed and seedless varieties of mandarins and lemons.
