Dr. Lidia Daimiel obtained her degree in Biological Sciences from the Autonomous University of Madrid. After that, she held the position of researcher assistant at the Human Genetics Lab headed by Prof. Juan José González Aguilera and Prof. Ma Antonio Fernández Peralta for three years and then moved to Ramón y Cajal Hospital. She started postdoctoral training at IMDEA Food Institute for four years after finishing a PhD. She is currently a Junior Researcher at IMDEA Food Institute, a research institution of the Regional Government of Comunidad de Madrid, Spain.
