Dr. Mahmoud Emam

Received a B.S. degree and an M.S. degree in mathematics and computer science from Menoufia University, Egypt, in 2006 and 2012, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree in computer science and technology from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2017. From 2013 to 2017, he was a Research Associate with the Research Institute of Information Countermeasure Techniques (ICT), School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He is currently an assistant professor at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Menoufia University, Egypt. He is an author and co-author of many publications and a referee of many referred international journals and conferences. His research interest includes artificial intelligence, digital forensics, multimedia security, computer vision, machine learning, and pattern recognition. He received two best paper awards from the IEEE and Springer Conferences. His awards and honors include the best foreigner Ph.D. student award and the 2016 outstanding international Ph.D. student excellence award by the Chinese Scholarship Council, P.R. China.
