Prof. Dushantha Nalin K. Jayakody, Senior Member of IEEE and an IET Fellow, received his PhD degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from University College Dublin, Ireland. He received his MSc degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Eastern Mediterranean University, Turkey under the University's full graduate scholarship. From 2014-2016, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Tartu, Estonia and University of Bergen, Norway. From 2021, he has been employed at the Autonoma TechLab, Portugal, and Sciences and Technologies Department (STD), Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, Portugal. From 2016 to present, he has been a Professor at the School of Computer Science and Robotics, Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU), Russia. He serves asHead of the School of Postgraduate Studies and Research at Sri Lanka Technological Campus, Sri Lanka. He has supervised fifteen PhD students and many Master's and undergraduate students. Heheld visiting and/or sabbatical positions at the Centre for Telecommunications Research, University of Sydney, Australia in 2015 and Texas A&M University in 2018. In July 2019, Prof. Jayakody received the Education Leadership Award from the World Academic Congress. In 2017 and 2018, he receivedoutstanding faculty awards from Tomsk Polytechnic University, Russia. He has published nearly 200 international peer reviewed journal and conference papers and books.
