Patricia Victoria Poblete Grant is a Chilean scientist with extensive experience in research and teaching in natural resource sciences. Currently affiliated with the Soil–Plant Interaction and Natural Resources Biotechnology Center at the Universidad de La Frontera, she holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resource Sciences from the Universidad de La Frontera and a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from Sorbonne University (2019). Her academic achievements also include a Master’s in Natural Resource Sciences, a degree in Agricultural Engineering, and a Bachelor’s in Agronomic Sciences, all from the Universidad de La Frontera. Patricia has served as a professor in various undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the Universidad de La Frontera and Universidad de Aysén. Her research focuses on phosphorus adsorption in volcanic soils, the impact of organic management on soil quality and pasture production, and the use of organic amendments to enhance soil fertility. She has published extensively in high-impact international journals and presented her findings at global conferences and workshops, earning recognition for her work on low-phosphorus soils and phosphatase activity in pastures. Patricia has led and contributed to research projects funded by FONDECYT and other organizations. She is also dedicated to science outreach, serving as a jury member in science fairs and managing editor of the Journal of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition.
