This study presents a novel account of artificial intelligence driven digital transformation (AIDT) in the proposed relationship between artificial intelligence readiness (AIR) and business process efficiency (BPE). Data gathered from 227 firms was analyzed with PLS-SEM approach for testing the proposed AIDT model. Results confirmed that the link between AIR and BPE is positive and significant. Furthermore, it is confirmed that AIDT significantly mediates the positive relationship between AIR and BPE. Further, discussion on tangible and intangible aspects of AIR offers deep AI related theoretical insights into the AIDT related concept of organizational resource-based view. Policymakers and AI practitioners can use the AIDT model as a driver for enhancing BPE.

Digital skills are becoming an important prerequisite for employment worldwide, but a significant portion of the population still lacks the skills needed to function in a digital business environment. Although young people are often considered "digital connoisseurs", most of them do not actually have enough of these competencies relevant to starting their own entrepreneurial businesses or filling jobs where there is a need for advanced digital skills. Those with the lowest levels of digital skills would be most affected, as well as those who are least willing to upgrade their skills. Accordingly, it is necessary to promote digital entrepreneurial skills and introduce them into education programs through different forms and levels of education. The main objective of this paper is to explore the possibilities of improving entrepreneurs' competencies through e-learning. In line with this, the authors stressed the need for policymakers to develop a comprehensive and coherent approach to fostering learning and activating digital entrepreneurial skills among young people, while measuring progress towards the goals set, is emphasized. In addition to these, there are many other reasons why digital knowledge must be considered a priority in modern education processes. Accordingly, long-term, and short-term goals and their impact at the level of the individual and organization, as well as at the level of economy and society, have been determined.

In the era of digitalization and globalization, virtual teams have become an essential organizational form for ensuring adaptability and resilience in dynamic markets. Competencies of team members—particularly in information and communication technologies (ICT)—represent a critical factor in strengthening organizational resilience and sustaining competitive advantage. This paper explores how competence development in virtual teams contributes to resilience by enabling organizations to quickly adapt to disruptions, maintain operational continuity, and innovate under uncertainty. Drawing on the resource-based view (RBV), the study emphasizes the integration of human capital, ICT knowledge, and experiential learning as foundations for resilient and high-performing virtual organizations in a rapidly changing environment.
