George Căruțașu graduated from the Faculty of Engineering and Management of Technological Systems of the University Politehnica of Bucharest in 2001. He has held a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering since 2005. Now, he is the Dean of the Faculty of Economic Studies at the Romanian-American University and a professor at the Department of Informatics, Statistics, and Mathematics. His domain of work is integrated management systems, project management, computer networks, and collaborative platforms. He has published more than 70 research papers, taken part in the research teams for over 30 research contracts, and been a manager for 6 international or national research contracts.
