Dinesh Rokaya received his BDS from the People’s Dental College, (Nepal) in 2009, his MSD in Maxillofacial Prosthetics from the Mahidol University (Thailand) in 2015, and his PhD in Dental Biomaterials Science from the Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) in 2019. Then, he obtained the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2019, the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2020, and the Fellowship of the Royal Society for Public Health in 2022.
He is currently a Visiting Faculty at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. He teaches dental students and also supervises master’s degree theses. His research and teaching areas are focused on prosthetic dentistry, maxillofacial prosthetics, maxillofacial rehabilitation, esthetic dentistry, digital dentistry, dental biomaterials, and polymeric biomaterials. To date, he has published 115 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 15 book chapters, and 1 book. His publications have gathered over 2900+ citations (h-index 28).
He holds guest editorial positions in reputed international journals such as Molecules and the International Journal of Dentistry. He is a reviewer of various journals published by Elsevier, Wiley, Hindawi, Springer Nature, Royal Society of Chemistry, Thieme, SAGE, MDPI, IOP, PLOS, etc.
