Scientific research and pedagogical activity is based on experimental results in the field of burning (fire, flame) and extinguishing of organic substances. She participates in the creation of university study programs in the field of security sciences, namely the creation of bachelor's, engineering (protection of persons and matter) and doctoral (fire protection and safety) study program at the Technical University in Zvolen in 2000-2012, a bachelor's, master's and doctoral study program in the field of environmental protection at Matej Bel University. Since 2019, she has been working at the University of Žilina, Faculty of Security Engineering, Department of Fire Engineering, is guarantor of engineering and doctoral study program of Rescue Service and engaged in research into the flammability of materials.
