Dr. Muhammad Ashraf

Muhammad Ashraf (PhD in Water Resources Engineering, UET Lahore) is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Engineering KFUEIT, RYK. He has a vast knowledge and experience in hydrology, hydraulics, canals and river sedimentation, GIS applications in the field of Water Resources Engineering and CFD Modeling studies for flow and sedimentation in canals and rivers. He received his BSc degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad in 2007. In 2009, he completed an MSc degree in Water Resources Engineering from the Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Engineering, UET Lahore. He worked as a visiting faculty member in the Department of GIS, Punjab University for four years and supervised MPhil students in their research thesis. Many research publications have been published in the international impact factor journals. He has worked in well reputed national and international organizations like WAPDA, PDMA, MM Pakistan and IWMI.
