Seunghyeok Hong was born in Seoul, South Korea. He received his B.S. from Sogang University. He obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. from an interdisciplinary program in biomedical engineering at Seoul National University. He focused on the application of AI and biosignal monitoring for safety and healthcare. His current research interests include the analysis of biosignals with deep learning. He is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Data Science at the University of Suwon, Hwaseong-si, South Korea. Prof. Hong has been a member of the Korean Society of Medical and Biological Engineering (KOSOMBE) since 2012.
