Prof. Sunday Oyedepo

Oyedepo, Sunday Olayinka is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Covenant University, Nigeria. He obtained a Bachelor Degree and Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria and the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, respectively. He bagged his PhD (Mechanical Engineering) degree from Covenant University, Nigeria. His PhD research work focused on ‘Thermodynamic Performance Analysis of Selected Gas Turbine Power Plants in Nigeria’. Professor Oyedepo has over 20 years of research and teaching experiences at University and Polytechnic levels. He has supervised 2- PhD students, 3- M.Eng students, over thirty undergraduate projects and nine HND (Higher National Diploma) projects. Currently Co- supervising 3 – PhD students. He has published over 130 papers in national /international journals, Book Chapters and conferences. He has 2128 citations of his research work with H-index 21 and i10-index 35. Professor Oyedepo is a Reviewer of more
