Spherical fuzzy set (SFS) is one of the most important and extensive concept to accommodate more uncertainties than existing fuzzy set structures. In this article, we will describe a novel enhanced TOPSIS-based procedure for tackling multi attribute group decision making (MAGDM) issues under spherical fuzzy setting, in which the weights of both decision-makers (DMs) and criteria are totally unknown. First, we study the notion of SFSs, the score and accuracy functions of SFSs and their basic operating laws. In addition, defined the generalized distance measure for SFSs based on spherical fuzzy entropy measure to compute the unknown weights information. Secondly, the spherical fuzzy information-based decision-making technique for MAGDM is presented. Lastly, an illustrative example is delivered with robot selection to reveal the efficiency of the proposed spherical fuzzy decision support approach, along with the discussion of comparative results, to prove that their results are feasible and credible.

Graph-based text representation is one of the important preprocessing steps in data and text mining, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and information retrieval approaches. The graph-based methods focus on how to represent text documents in the shape of a graph to exploit the best features of their characteristics. This study reviews and lists the advantages and disadvantages of such methods employed or developed in graph-based text representations. The literature shows that some of the proposed graph-based methods suffer from a lack of representing texts in certain situations. Currently, several techniques are commonly used in graph-based text representation. However, there are still some weaknesses and shortages in these techniques and tools that significantly affect the success of graph representation and graph matching. In this review, we conduct an inclusive survey of the state of the art in graph-based text representation and learning. We provide a formal description of the problem of graph-based text representation and introduce some basic concepts. More significantly, this study proposes a new taxonomy of graph-based text representation, categorizing the existing studies based on representation characteristics and scheme techniques. In terms of the representation scheme taxonomy, we introduce four main types of conceptual graph schemes and summarize the challenges faced in each scheme. The main issues of graph representation, such as research topics and the sub-taxonomy of graph models for web documents, are introduced and categorized. This research also covers some tasks of understanding natural language processing (NLP) that depend on different types of graph structures. In addition, the graph matching taxonomy implements three main categories based on the matching approach, including structural-, semantic-, and similarity-based approaches. Moreover, a deep comparison of these approaches is discussed and reported in terms of methods and tools, the concepts of matching and locality, and the application domains that use these tools. Finally, the paper recommends seven promising future study directions in the graph-based text representation field. These recommendation points are summarized and highlighted as open problems and challenges of graph-based text representation and learning to facilitate and fill the research gaps for scientific researchers in this field.

Neurodegeneration and impaired neuronal transmission in the brain are at the root of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and dementia. As of yet, no successful treatments for dementia or Alzheimer’s disease have indeed been found. Therefore, preventative measures such as early diagnosis are essential. This research aimed to evaluate the accuracy of the Open Access Series of Imaging Studies (OASIS) database for the purpose of identifying biomarkers of dementia using effective machine learning methods. In most parts of the world, AD is responsible for dementia. When the challenge level is high, it is nearly impossible to get anything done without assistance. This is increasing due to population growth and the diagnostic period. Two current approaches are the medical history and testing. The main challenge for dementia research is the imbalance of datasets and their impact on accuracy. A proposed system based on reinforcement learning and neural networks could generate and segment imbalanced classes. Making a precise diagnosis and taking into account dementia in all four stages will result in high-resolution sickness probability maps. It employs deep reinforcement learning to generate accurate and understandable representations of a person’s dementia sickness risk. To avoid an imbalance, classes should be evenly represented in the samples. There is a significant class imbalance in the MRI image. The Deep Reinforcement System improved trial accuracy by 6%, precision by 9%, recall by 13%, and F-score by 9–10%. The diagnosis efficiency has improved as well.

The motive behind this article is to apply the notions of q-derivative by introducing some new families of harmonic functions associated with the symmetric circular region. We develop a new criterion for sense preserving and hence the univalency in terms of q-differential operator. The necessary and sufficient conditions are established for univalency for this newly defined class. We also discuss some other interesting properties such as distortion limits, convolution preserving, and convexity conditions. Further, by using sufficient inequality, we establish sharp bounds of the real parts of the ratios of harmonic functions to its sequences of partial sums. Some known consequences of the main results are also obtained by varying the parameters.

Vehicles serve as mobile nodes in a high-mobility MANET technique known as the vehicular ad hoc network (VANET), which is used in urban and rural areas as well as on highways. The VANET, based on 5G (5G-VANET), provides advanced facilities to the driving of vehicles such as reliable communication, less end-to-end latency, a higher data rate transmission, reasonable cost, and assured quality of experience (QoE) for delivered services. However, the crucial challenge with these recent technologies is to design a real-time multimedia traffic shaping that maintains smooth connectivity under the unpredictable change of channel capacity and data rate due to handover for rapid vehicle mobility among roadside units. This research proposes a smart real-time multimedia traffic shaping to control the amount and the rate of the traffic sent to the 5G-VANET based on distributed reinforcement learning (RMDRL). The proposed mechanism selects the accurate decisions of coding parameters such as quantization parameters, group of pictures, and frame rate that are used to manipulate the required traffic shaping of the multimedia stream on the 5G-VANET. Furthermore, the impact of the aforementioned three coding parameters has been comprehensively studied using five video clips to achieve the optimal traffic rate value for real-time multimedia streaming on 5G communication. The proposed algorithm outperforms the baseline traffic shaping in terms of peak-signal-to-noise-ratio (PSNR) and end-to-end frame delay. This research will open new comfortable facilities for vehicle manufacturing to enhance the data communication system on the 5G-VANET.

The continuous increase in Android malware applications (apps) represents a significant danger to the privacy and security of users’ information. Therefore, effective and efficient Android malware app-classification techniques are needed. This paper presents a method for Android malware classification using optimized ensemble learning based on genetic algorithms. The suggested method is divided into two steps. First, a base learner is used to handle various machine learning algorithms, including support vector machine (SVM), logistic regression (LR), gradient boosting (GB), decision tree (DT), and AdaBoost (ADA) classifiers. Second, a meta learner RF-GA, utilizing genetic algorithm (GA) to optimize the parameters of a random forest (RF) algorithm, is employed to classify the prediction probabilities from the base learner. The genetic algorithm is used to optimize the parameter settings in the RF algorithm in order to obtain the highest Android malware classification accuracy. The effectiveness of the proposed method was examined on a dataset consisting of 5560 Android malware apps and 9476 goodware apps. The experimental results demonstrate that the suggested ensemble-learning strategy for classifying Android malware apps, which is based on an optimized random forest using genetic algorithms, outperformed the other methods and achieved the highest accuracy (94.15%), precision (94.15%), and area under the curve (AUC) (98.10%).
