Urban green spaces (UGS) play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life in urban environments by offering a wide range of ecological, psychological, socio–cultural, and economic benefits. This research addresses the multidimensional impact of functional characteristics of UGS on user satisfaction in Novi Sad, focusing on the various ways in which these spaces contribute to well-being. By integrating multiple perspectives, including ecological benefits like stress reduction, social and cultural aspects such as fostering community connections, and economic factors like enhancing property values, this study presents a holistic analysis of UGS. Through a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys and regression analysis, the research explores how different UGS functions interact to shape users’ perceptions. The findings highlight the importance of socio–cultural and ecological functions in improving the urban experience, providing key insights for urban planning that aims to create sustainable, inclusive, and resilient green spaces. This study emphasises the significance of considering these diverse dimensions in the development and management of urban green spaces for long-term sustainability and user satisfaction.

α-algorithm is suitable to discover a large class of workflow (WF) nets based on the behaviour recorded in event logs, with the main limiting assumption that the event log is complete. Our research has been aimed at finding ways of discovering business process models based on examples of traces, ie, logs of workflow actions that do not meet the requirement of completeness. In this aim, we have modified the existing and introduced a new relation between activities recorded in the event log, which has led to a partial correction of the process models discovering technique, including the α-algorithm. We have also introduced the notion of causally complete logs, from which our modified algorithm can produce the same result as the α-algorithm from complete logs. The effect of these modifications on the efficiency of the process model discovering is mostly evident for business processes in which many activities can be performed in parallel. The application of the modified method for discovering block-structured models of parallel business processes is presented in this paper.

Programming by demonstration (PBD) is a technique which allows end users to create, modify, accommodate, and expand programs by demonstrating what the program is supposed to do. Although the ideal of common-purpose programming by demonstration or by examples has been rejected as practically unrealistic, this approach has found its application and shown potentials when limited to specific narrow domains and ranges of applications. In this paper, the original method of applying the principles of programming by demonstration in the area of process mining (PM) to interactive construction of block-structured parallel business processes models is presented. A technique and tool that enable interactive process mining and incremental discovery of process models have been described in this paper. The idea is based on the following principle: using a demonstrational user interface, a user demonstrates scenarios of execution of parallel business process activities, and the system gives a generalized model process specification. A modified process mining technique with the α|| algorithm applied on weakly complete event logs is used for creating parallel business process models using demonstration.

The paper presents an application that serves for the visualization and graphical interpretation of data on spas in the Republic of Serbia, which are located by region. The application is written in client languages Python, HTML and CSS. The aim of this work is to improve the visibility and attractiveness of spas in the Republic of Serbia by using information and communication technologies, especially through data visualization tools. Taking into account the fact that the main role of spas is the preservation and promotion of health, as well as the offer of various wellness contents, the use of this application can contribute to the increase in the number of visitors, that is, spa tourism, and therefore the economic development of the Republic of Serbia.

This report presents a comprehensive analysis of soil chemical pollutants in the municipality of Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia, based on a recent soil quality report. The primary objective was to characterize the geochemical composition of soil from various land-use types, including agricultural, recreational, roadside, and a site adjacent to a landfill. The study method involved the analysis of five soil samples for a suite of parameters, including heavy metals, organic matter content, and physical properties. The measured concentrations were systematically compared against national Serbian regulations and recommendations for future actions were given.
