Dr. Lorina Ineta Badger-Emeka is an Associate Professor of Medical Microbiology and Parasitology at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, College of Medicine King Faisal University. She completed her PhD studies in Medical Microbiology and Parasitology, University of Lagos, Nigeria, and has been awarded Doctor of Philosophy Awards. She has published fifty (50) papers in various journals, and serves as a Role for Societies, as well as for Research Projects. His/her teaching disciplines include Medical Bacteriology, Medical Parasitology, Medical Virology, and her interests include Bacteriology, molecular bacteriology, Malaria, Schistosomiasis and other tropical diseases.
