Dr. Souheib Oueslati is an associate professor of food science, at the National Institute of Agronomic Research of Tunisia (INRAT). He is a PhD holder in biology sciences from the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis (2013). He is a specialist in the analytical techniques for the analysis of the mycotoxins in food and feed using LC-MS/MS. During the last five years, his research activity has been based on the study of the mycotoxigenic fungal growth in food and feed and their consequent mycotoxins. He also deals with biological control, the identification of pests and antagonists, molecular biodiversity, as well as characterization of antifungal agents for the reduction of mycotoxins. He has been author or co-author of over 20 publications, has been a reviewer of scientific articles in various international journals, and has participated in various congresses at national and international level. The scientific performance of the young researcher is reflected by the h-index, which is currently 14 (Scopus database).
