Rodrigo Alejandro Abarza Muñoz graduated in Chemistry from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil (2002), and received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the same university in 2006, following an internship period at the Oxford University, UK (2005). He completed postdoctoral research at Arizona State University (USA) from 2006-2007 and postdoctoral research at the University of Sao Paulo from 2007-2008. He is currently Associate Professor of Chemistry at the Federal University of Uberlandia, Brazil. His current research interests focus on the development of analytical methods and electrochemical (bio)sensors associated with flow-injection and batch-injection analyses using the 3D-printing technology with applications on forensics, food, biological, and fuels.
