José Baptista is currently Assistant Professor with Habilitation of Electrical Power Systems and Renewables fields at University of Tras-os-Montes and Alto Douro-UTAD. He is also a Researcher at INESC Technology and Science - INESC-TEC - Associate Laboratory. He obtained his Bachelor (1991), Master (1997) and Doctorate (2007) degrees in Electrical Power Systems. His current main research interests are in Renewable Systems Management and Energy Efficiency. He has supervised more than 35 Masters and PhD Thesis in Energy Management and Electrical Power Systems fields. He has published over 85 works, including refereed publications, book chapters, learning materials as well communications at international conferences. He is member of the editorial board for international journals and has served in numerous committees of international conferences and workshops.
