The detection of weeds at the stages of cultivation is very important for detecting and preventing plant diseases and eliminating significant crop losses, and traditional methods of performing this process require large costs and human resources, in addition to exposing workers to the risk of contamination with harmful chemicals. To solve the above tasks, also in order to save herbicides and pesticides, to obtain environmentally friendly products, a program for detecting agricultural pests using the classical K-Nearest Neighbors, Random Forest and Decision Tree algorithms, as well as YOLOv5 neural network, is proposed. After analyzing the geographical areas of the country, from the images of the collected weeds, a proprietary database with more than 1000 images for each class was formed. A brief review of the researchers' scientific papers describing the methods they developed for identifying, classifying and discriminating weeds based on machine learning algorithms, convolutional neural networks and deep learning algorithms is given. As a result of the research, a weed detection system based on the YOLOv5 architecture was developed and quality estimates of the above algorithms were obtained. According to the results of the assessment, the accuracy of weed detection by the K-Nearest Neighbors, Random Forest and Decision Tree classifiers was 83.3 %, 87.5 %, and 80 %. Due to the fact that the images of weeds of each species differ in resolution and level of illumination, the results of the neural network have corresponding indicators in the intervals of 0.82–0.92 for each class. Quantitative results obtained on real data demonstrate that the proposed approach can provide good results in classifying low-resolution images of weeds.
Water resource pollution, particularly in river channels, presents a grave environmental challenge that necessitates a comprehensive and systematic approach encompassing assessment, forecasting, and effective management. This article provides a comprehensive exploration of the methodology and modeling tools employed to scrutinize the process of river channel pollution due to silting, rooted in the fundamental principles of hydrodynamics and pollutant transport dynamics. The study’s methodology seamlessly integrates numerical simulations with state-of-the-art neural network techniques, with a specific focus on the physics-informed neural network (PINN) method. This innovative approach represents a groundbreaking fusion of artificial neural networks (ANNs) and physical equations, offering a more efficient and precise means of modeling a wide array of complex processes and phenomena. The proposed mathematical model, grounded in the Euler equation, has been meticulously implemented using the Ansys Fluent software package, ensuring accuracy and reliability in the computations. In a pivotal phase of the research, a thorough comparative analysis was conducted between the results derived using the PINN method and those obtained using conventional numerical approaches with the Ansys Fluent software package. The outcomes of this analysis revealed the superior performance of the PINN method, characterized by the generation of smoother pressure fluctuation profiles and a significantly reduced computation time, underscoring its potential as a transformative modeling tool. The calculated data originating from this study assume paramount significance in the ongoing battle against river sedimentation. Beyond this immediate application, these findings also serve as a valuable resource for creating predictive materials pertaining to river channel silting, thereby empowering decision-makers and environmental stakeholders with essential information. The utilization of modeling techniques to address pollution concerns in river channels holds the potential to revolutionize risk management and safeguard the integrity of our vital water resources. However, it is imperative to underscore that the effectiveness of such models hinges on ongoing monitoring and frequent data updates, ensuring that they remain aligned with real-world conditions. This research not only contributes to the enhanced understanding and proactive management of river channel pollution due to silting but also underscores the pivotal role of advanced modeling methodologies in the preservation of our invaluable water resources for present and future generations.

In the course of our research work, the American, Russian and Turkish sign languages were analyzed. The program of recognition of the Kazakh dactylic sign language with the use of machine learning methods is implemented. A dataset of 5000 images was formed for each gesture, gesture recognition algorithms were applied, such as Random Forest, Support Vector Machine, Extreme Gradient Boosting, while two data types were combined into one database, which caused a change in the architecture of the system as a whole. The quality of the algorithms was also evaluated. The research work was carried out due to the fact that scientific work in the field of developing a system for recognizing the Kazakh language of sign dactyls is currently insufficient for a complete representation of the language. There are specific letters in the Kazakh language, because of the peculiarities of the spelling of the language, problems arise when developing recognition systems for the Kazakh sign language. The results of the work showed that the Support Vector Machine and Extreme Gradient Boosting algorithms are superior in real-time performance, but the Random Forest algorithm has high recognition accuracy. As a result, the accuracy of the classification algorithms was 98.86 % for Random Forest, 98.68 % for Support Vector Machine and 98.54 % for Extreme Gradient Boosting. Also, the evaluation of the quality of the work of classical algorithms has high indicators. The practical significance of this work lies in the fact that scientific research in the field of gesture recognition with the updated alphabet of the Kazakh language has not yet been conducted and the results of this work can be used by other researchers to conduct further research related to the recognition of the Kazakh dactyl sign language, as well as by researchers, engaged in the development of the international sign language

Sign languages are an extremely important means of communication in many cases, especially for deaf and hard of hearing people. But the same gesture can convey different meanings in different countries, so many different sign languages have been developed all over the world. In this study, a convolutional neural network (CNN) model was developed based on an ensemble method containing the ResNet-50 and VGG-19 architectures, which will be able to classify the Kazakh sign language (KSL) consisting of 42 Kazakh alphabet signs (classes). A proprietary data set of 57,708 images for 42 signs of the KSL has been formed. The ensemble model was compared with ResNet-50 and VGG-19 by evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, f1-measure, and loss function. The recognition accuracy of the ensemble method reached 95.7%, exceeding the performance of ResNet-50 and VGG-19. The developed method was also tested on test data, where 35 out of 42 gestures were recognized completely correctly. The reliability of the proposed approach and the classification results obtained by using preprocessing methods and data augmentation techniques to expand the data set was confirmed by a computational experiment.
