Mihai Sonia is an Associate Professor at the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti in the Chemistry Department. She received her PhD in chemistry from the University of Bucharest in 2010 and completed post-doctoral studies at the Petroleum-Gas University in 2013.
Her current research work focuses on the synthesis and characterization of gold nanoparticles and nanocomposites and their applications in photocatalysis.
